Jon (aka "Zinger") is originally from Moline, Michigan where he played with the Grand Rapids A's travel team during high school, a team that made it to the Connie Mack World Series in 1998. He played at the collegiate D1 level for the Michigan State Spartans from 1999 to 2002.  After school, Jon was undrafted, but continued

Jon (aka "Zinger") is originally from Moline, Michigan where he played with the Grand Rapids A's travel team during high school, a team that made it to the Connie Mack World Series in 1998. He played at the collegiate D1 level for the Michigan State Spartans from 1999 to 2002.  After school, Jon was undrafted, but continued to play professionally for 12 years and 14 seasons including Winterball.  Jon began coaching part time in 2002 and has since coached at the professional, college and high school levels.  He started the Backyard Baseball Lab in 2011 which has become the Fuel Factory.  Jon and his wife Brittany share a mutual passion for all things baseball! You can often find them at a game supporting their athletes with their two kids. Jon is available for private pitching lessons, team practices, and groups.

There, he was a four year starter in the outfield.  His senior year they won the WAC Conference Tournament and went to the Regional at LSU.  He continued on his baseball career by playing two years of Independent Baseball in the American Association and United

There, he was a four year starter in the outfield.  His senior year they won the WAC Conference Tournament and went to the Regional at LSU.  He continued on his baseball career by playing two years of Independent Baseball in the American Association and United Shores League. After, he took his talents to Paradise Valley High School where he was the head coach of the JV and Freshman team. Mark is available for private hitting lessons, group training, and recruiting videos.

Parker Markel spent more than a decade playing professional baseball, mostly as a reliever.


He graduated from Mountain Ridge High School in 2009, and was drafted by the Tigers, but did not sign. He went on to play for Yavapai JC in Prescott. One year later, in 2010, he was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays. and played for six years in the organization.


His MLB debut was on May 12, 2019, with the Seattle Mariners.

From 2017 - 2022 Parker played for the Seattle, Mariners, KBO League, Arizona Diamondbacks, IBAA, Pittsburgh Pirates, Angels, Oakland A's, and Chicago White Sox.


Parker has been described as having "eye-popping strikeout numbers, a plus offering slider that can miss bats against top competition, and a backstory of perseverance.


Parker Markel is a valley resident and a proud father and loving husband. He enjoys working with young athletes and helping them develop their existing tools as well as helping them put a new spin on things.

Terry, aka Pollz,  played both college baseball and basketball at the University of Portland.  He was drafted by the New York Yankees in 1968 and the Baltimore Orioles in 1969.  From 1972 to 1983 Terry coached baseball, basketball and football at Westlinn High School in Oregon where he won two State Championships.  He went on to coach college baseball at the University of Portland from 1984 to 1997.  In 1998 Terry took a position as hitting and defensive coach for the Seattle Mariners where he became a minor league manager for four seasons until 2011.  Pollz is available for private hitting and defense lessons.

Luis Aviles jr. is originally from Havana Cuba, where his baseball journey began. He came to the USA when he was 12 years old. He attended Southwest Miami high school in Florida where he was later drafted in 2013 by the Milwaukee Brewers as a shortstop! He spent his first six years of professional baseball in the Brewers organization and 

Luis Aviles jr. is originally from Havana Cuba, where his baseball journey began. He came to the USA when he was 12 years old. He attended Southwest Miami high school in Florida where he was later drafted in 2013 by the Milwaukee Brewers as a shortstop! He spent his first six years of professional baseball in the Brewers organization and is currently with the Los Angeles Angels. He has high level minor league experience and big league spring training camp experience with Los Angeles. He’s excited to be spending his off season working with a great group of guys at FuelFactory. He is available for private  hitting, fielding, team, and group lessons.
